The visa electronic or Vietnamese Evisa has been introduced by the Vietnamese Immigration Department on 1 February 1, 2017 to promote the tourism industry in Vietnam. Since March 2019, the electronic visa platform is available for citizens holding a valid passport of 80 countries.

Conditions for electronic visa
- A valid passport with at least 6 months remaining validity
- 01 passport size photo
- Passport data page with personal information
- Electronic visa fee of USD 25 for single entry
- Duration of Evisa: 30 days
Trick: If you do not want to pay for a multi-entry visa, simply arrive in Vietnam with a 30-day Evisa, and visit another country then return to Vietnam with the 15-day visa waiver. With this tip, you can accumulate 45 days.
