Meanwhile, the Central region attracts backpackers due to the sun and wind filled sea routes. When visiting the South West region, you encounter an idyllic scene on dirt roads, surrounded by immense rice fields.

1. Hai Van Pass (Cloud Pass)
Itinerary : Da Nang – Thua Thien – Hue
Distance : 20km
Hai Van Pass is 20 km long, is the natural border connecting Thua Thien – Hue province and Da Nang city, is known as “the first majestic landscape in the world”, the song of forest – sea harmony – city. This place has just been featured in the top 10 of the most beautiful roads in the world, voted by the magazine Travel + Leisure.
According to statistics of more than 7 million hashtags on Instagram from Pentagon Motor Group (PMG), Hai Van Pass ranks 4th among the 10 most beautiful roads in the world, with more than 52,000 photos.
Hai Van Quan, Hai Van Bac station, the Don Ca arch bridge are the stops not to be missed on the path to conquering the “most majestic pass”.
The last stop of this trip is Lang Co Bay. This place has a beauty like a watercolor with turquoise sea water, in the distance are hills and mountains.
2. Ha Giang Loop
Itinerary : Ha Giang Town – Quan Ba - Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ha Giang Town
Distance : 350km
Foreign tourists call the route Ha Giang – Quan Ba - Dong Van – Meo Vac – Ha Giang: “ Ha Giang Loop » (roughly translated: the Ha Giang loop).
This is the most interesting and spectacular road trip in Northern Vietnam.
Rough roads, difficult driving and rocky cat-ear slopes are typical of Ha Giang.
You will see a majestic and beautiful Ha Giang and below is the green and poetic stream of Nho Que… In the mist, clouds and mountains. The water mixes, thinking like a fairyland in the world.
Some of the must-do activities on this route include hiking, canoeing, and caving. Ma Pi Leng Pass is a destination not to be missed.
3. Cao Bang – Ban Gioc
Itinerary : Cao Bang Town – Ban Gioc Waterfall
Distance : 80km
Ban Gioc Waterfall is considered a place with magnificent scenery, like a fairy scene in Cao Bang. The road to this place is quite dangerous but has impressive scenery, attracting many visitors every year.
On this route, you will cross the 3.5 km long Ma Phuc pass with 7 zigzag turns. Nguom Ngao Cave, Cao Bang’s natural masterpiece, is also an ideal stopover if you have enough time for this trip.
Arriving at Ban Gioc Waterfall, visitors will encounter a beautiful scene that captivates people with each cascade of waterfalls, white water and white foam. The waterfall is over 30m high with many large bodies of water pouring through many layers of limestone.
4. Da Lat – Nha Trang
Course : Da Lat – Nha Trang
Distance : 134km
This road trip promises to bring a new experience as visitors move from the cool highlands of Da Lat to the sunny and windy lands of Nha Trang. The road passes through many rugged hills, with sharp bends, high cliffs and chasms up to 300m deep creating a majestic landscape.
Many tourists compare it to “a road connecting the sea and flowers”.
The route passes through Bidoup Nui Ba National Park – the place with the most diverse biological resources in Vietnam. Visitors will have an eerie feeling when immersed in the mist or watching the waterfall falling from the high cliffs at the side of the road.
The journey from Da Lat to Nha Trang takes approximately 3 hours. Visitors should choose to travel during the day to ensure their safety.
5. Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho City

6. Con Son Island

7. Ho Chi Minh Road

From Ho Chi Minh City to Hanoi, there are many transportation options for tourists like motorbikes, trains, planes… The journey from North to South takes about 2 weeks for those who like hiking or long-distance travel course.
