Opened in November 2019, Sapa Glass Bridge (also called Cau Kinh Rong May, meaning Dragon in the Clouds Glass Bridge) is located at O Quy Ho Pass, only about 17 km from the city center from Sapa.
With its altitude of 2,200 meters above sea level and its length of 60 meters, it offers a unique experience to visitors, inviting them to literally float and walk among the clouds.
This architectural masterpiece features a circular design with four walkways, three of which are glass, offering stunning views of the surrounding area. From the summit, visitors can admire the majesty of the O Quy Ho Pass, feel the caressing breeze and appreciate the grandeur of the mountains of the Hoang Lien Son range.
It was one of the first glass bridges built in Vietnam.
Where is the Sapa Glass Bridge?
The Glass Bridge tourist area is located at the Gate of Heaven, at the top of the magnificent O Quy Ho Pass, at an altitude of over 2,200 m above sea level, approximately 16 km from the Sa Pa town and 7 km from Fansipan cable car to the south.
It is an integrated tourism complex where visitors can admire the scenery, explore the culture and experience adventure games with catering and hotel systems.
How to get to Sapa Glass Bridge?
From Sapa town, you have several options to reach this tourist area. you can hire a taxi, motorbike, motorbike taxi or take a tourist bus from Sapa.
To get your bearings, simply go to the Thach Son – Ham Rong – Pham Xuan Huan intersection near the Sapa Stone Church, then turn towards Thach Son. Continue straight until you reach the Xuan Vien – Thach Son intersection, then turn left towards Xuan Vien.
Follow this road until you reach Xuan Vien Street, then turn left to access Highway 4D. Then, follow this highway for approximately 18 km until you spot on your right the road indicating the “ Rong May Glass Bridge Tourist Area “. Take this road and follow the signs to the car park near the glass bridge.
Once at the entrance to the tourist area, you can begin your journey inside. You will notice a dark green greenhouse where you can purchase your entry ticket. After getting your ticket, board the bus that will take you to the Glass Bridge.
By taxi
If you are a tourist traveling in a large group and have young children, consider renting a taxi or 7-seater touring car for the whole group. Ensuring not only safety, but also convenience of travel.
Travel time from Sapa town is about 30-40 minutes and ranges from 500,000 VND to 600,000 VND for a round trip ticket.
By motorbike
In Sapa, there are many motorcycle rental places allowing visitors to explore the city easily and comfortably. Visitors can rent a car and drive it themselves to conquer the difficult passes of Lao Cai. Motorcycle rental prices range from 150,000 VND to 200,000 VND per day and all come with helmets, so you won’t have to worry about road safety.
From the city center, head towards Highway 4D (direction Thac Bac) and follow the national road towards Lai Chau (remember to turn on Google Maps so as not to get lost).

To access the glass bridge, visitors must take an elevator located 300m above the ground.
The elevator system is equipped with transparent tempered glass, allowing you to easily enjoy the panoramic view of the majestic O Quy Ho Pass.
