The cafe is located at an altitude of 1,600 m above sea level, covering a mountain in Sa Pa. Customers coming here have only one option, which is the cinnamon and anise cappuccino, served with croissants.
In addition to its prime location, overlooking Sa Pa’s sea of clouds from above, this shop also stands out for its unusual menu, selling only one drink.
The drink on the menu is called Coffee 1600, which is an anise cappuccino served with a croissant. As a result, this combo will not be sold separately but is included in the entrance ticket, priced at 300,000 VND/person/single entry to the store.
“The reason we only serve one drink is because we want diners, when they mention the name of the coffee, to always remember that cup of coffee. If there are too many items on the menu, it will be a distraction,” the store representative explained. .
This person added that it is a type of cappuccino made according to its own recipe, unlike any other cappuccino on the market.
“The coffee is rich in milk and cinnamon aroma, strange and quite delicious. The cake is soft, warm and crisp, two dishes are suitable to enjoy together. However, this price is quite high for customers who only come to eat cake and drink coffee without taking photos,” says Ngoc Minh, a restaurant customer.
According to Ngoc Minh, this space is quite large, airy and secluded because it is located at an altitude of 1,600 m, covering a mountain in Sa Pa and is located about 3 km away.
There is a 360 degree viewpoint overlooking the Muong Hoa Valley. Taking advantage of the natural scenery, the sea of clouds, the overlapping mountain peaks in front of the restaurant create a space mainly for outdoor seating for guests to enjoy the scenery.
Simple design with umbrella chairs, small wooden tables. Guests sit in an arc, facing the circular stage, watching the sunrise in the morning, waiting for the sunset in the afternoon.
The minimalist interior helps diners focus on the experience with nature. However, outdoor space is also limited on rainy, cold or too hot days.
The store has prepared a hot wood stove for diners, but in Sa Pa in winter many people tend to go to indoor cafes, cozy spaces.
Similar to Ngoc Minh, on food and tourism forums, many diners also consider the price of 300,000 VND/person/round, but such a menu has too few choices, this is the price to buy the experience. This place is suitable for people who want to admire the scenery, take photos more than enjoy a coffee.
In the near future, the shop plans to sell more cocoa, for diners who can’t drink coffee and babies. So the entire menu offers two types of drinks.
In addition, here on weekends cabaret shows will take place, a form of theatrical entertainment that combines many art forms such as musical evenings, dances, recitations, plays… Served with food. The entrance ticket price is 3-5 million VND per person. This program is not included in the coffee and cake package.
