But Hue is not only limited to its rich historical heritage. Life flows there at a gentle and relaxing pace, adding to its undeniable charm. Among the emblematic monuments not to be missed, we find the Imperial City, a true architectural jewel, and the Thien Mu pagoda, an essential symbol of the city. 5. Da Nang

6. Mui Né
The sand dunes of Mui Ne offer a breathtaking natural spectacle, often unknown to travelers but essential during your trip. Many local tour operators offer excursions to explore these dunes, but if you prefer to discover at your own pace, it is entirely possible to get there on your own. Personally, I recommend a morning visit, around 5 a.m., to admire the sunrise over this enchanting landscape.
On site, visitors can rent plastic sleds to slide down the dunes, but it is recommended to agree the price in advance. Another popular activity is kite flying, offering a unique experience amidst these vast expanses of sand. The Mui Ne Dunes are also a popular picnic spot for local residents, offering a friendly and lively atmosphere to share with family or friends.
7. Sapa
The town of Sapa, located 350 km northwest of Hanoi in Lao Cai province, was once a peaceful place that had not yet found its place on the national map until the arrival of the French in Tonkin in the 19th century. It was the French who discovered and developed the city for military and religious purposes. It is only since 1993 that Sapa has become accessible to tourists.
Sapa is renowned for its natural attractions, including the famous Fan Si Pan, Vietnam’s highest peak, located in the Hoang Lien Son mountain range, just 19 km from the town. 20. Phu Yen
Phu Yen, located by the sea in the central area, with famous sites such as Da Dia Rapids, Vung Ro Bay and a lighthouse. Phu Yen’s climate has two distinct seasons.
The rainy season begins from September to December. Therefore, the dry season (January to August) would be most convenient for sightseeing and other outdoor activities. In addition, you can also organize festive events to listen to “ hat choi » – an intangible national cultural heritage.
21. Da Lat
Dalat is the capital of Lam Dong province. With an altitude of 1500 meters above sea level, Da Lat enjoys cool weather all year round and is an ideal refuge in the south.
Once famous for its attractions such as Love Valley, Than Tho Lake, Doi Thong Hai Mo, Thac Voi, etc., Da Lat today cannot seem to retain its pristine beauty. There is a lot to see and do in Hai Phong: Do Son Beach, Tam Bac Lake, Trang Kenh Bridge, Binh Bridge, Hai Phong Opera House, etc.
23. Ha Tien
One of the most common destinations in Kien Giang province is Ha Tien. Originally opened in the early 17th century, 93 km from Kien Giang, Ha Tien has long been popular with many beautiful scenery, attracting many visitors.
No one remembers the exact origin of this name, but legend has it that once upon a time, fairies fell in love with the poetic landscape of the region. They were therefore often stopped near the Giang Thanh river and bore the name Ha Tien. (Ha means river and Tien means fairy in Vietnamese). In addition to the magnificent landscapes, Ha Tien is also known for historical sites associated with legend and fairy tales.
